Tamiya 47438 1/10 RC Super Storm Dragon

This assembly kit is a real treat for fans of both classic R/C models and cartoons, as the Super Storm Dragon (previously known as the Super Dragon in Item 50364) is released in a kit with a chassis for the first time! The Super Dragon appeared in the classic 1980s Japanese comic “R/C Boy” and gained a big following in both plastic and print.

Features:

  • This assembly kit creates the Super Storm Dragon, a nimble R/C buggy at home on- and off-road. Length: 410mm, width: 230mm, height: 130mm.
  • The lightweight and rigid Hornet chassis design utilizes engineering plastic bathtub frame, suspension arms, bumper and more.
  • The front has a coil-sprung independent swing axle suspension setup, while the rear rolling rigid axle suspension employs oil dampers.
  • A rear differential provides smooth cornering and is protected from dust and dirt in its sealed gearbox.
  • Features three-piece assembly wheels molded in white.
  • Front grooved tires and high-grip rear spike tires facilitate super handling.
  • The body is molded in lightweight and durable polycarbonate, pre-cut and pre-painted in white.
  • Slim polycarbonate body. The shape of the rear end that extends to the left and right is the image of a dragon's horn.
  • Swing axle front suspension with a simple structure.
  • Assembled 3-piece wheels are equipped with grooved tires with excellent directionality.
  • The vertically installed running battery can be removed by removing the lid on the back of the chassis.
  • The rolling rigid rear suspension is equipped with an oil damper.
  • Spike tires are mounted on 3-piece wheels with a 5-spoke design.
  • The body is molded in lightweight and durable polycarbonate, pre-cut and pre-painted in white.
